Seems like i am doing this update once a fortnight , that's not a conscious thing, must just be the natural flow of when i feel like doing it. Some times i might blog more or less often depending on how i feel. My partner has been on his easter break from work and so managed to fit a new front door under duress lol but its almost complete now and so made me want to get started tidying the gardens again, front and back which are always badly neglected from autumn to spring.
I have not joined as many atc swaps as i used to and im glad of that as i was doing way too many at one point, i seem to have the level just right now and so im enjoying them again. Though trying to remember where i joined them is another matter. Its all well and good joining various swap sites so long as you keep notes. lol
Its my brothers birthday today so
can you believe i only remembered yesterday and so it was shop bought cards for him and a friend who also has her birthday today.
I still have not received my atc revolver and im getting impatient now , but that's what happens when you order from the US to UK over easter. Live and Learn i guess.
I have not bought much new supplies over the past week or so much to dennis ( my partners delight ) as i guess i can be a little spend happy at times, well there so much to buy and its so very tempting. However i have stocked up on more large eyelets for my crop a dile which is most certainly my item of the week. I bought it about 3 weeks ago and its been invaluable , it comes with loads of eyelets anyway but i love the pastel colours and designer eyelets, my ultimate fave are the extra large eyelets made by We R Memory Keepers ( makers of the crop a dile ) especially in pastel pink and lime green.
My youngest daughter is determined she wants to be a teacher and has been saying this for at least two years now. She is coming up to the end of her 1st year of 6th form and so has been confronted with having to research universities but unlike my eldest daughter who can not wait to leave home i think she would stay for as long as possible if she gets into a local placement so GOOD LUCK TASHA ! You will make a great teacher when the time comes.
FAVE CRAFT ITEM OF THE WEEK CROP A DILE
Which i bought in a box set from QVC UK
I have been using it on journals and books and other projects - it cuts through the thickest chipboard like butter and i am in love with it.
