I'm feeling much better now. Though this time my cough and cold did seem to linger for longer than usual. Then the children got it and we passed it about for a few weeks and anyway it's great to be back to normal with just the usual aches and pains.
I have joined a UK based ATC swap site as well as the US one now.
Its so nice to see all the different themes and ideas the other members come up with and is really an inspiration for me.
I'm currently awestruck with some of the artists on flickr and seem to while away hours and hours just browsing their galleries and jaw dropping at the pictures there in. From the most modern and funky hand crafted jewellery designs to magical and quite beautiful vintage works of sheer genius.
I think the lighting in the US must also be better than here in the UK as their photos evoke such wonderment in me the way they arrange and display treasures and designs they have put together.
I am going to sort out my links and show you exactly what I'm talking about over the coming days as such amazing art has to be seen with your own eyes.
My son received another congratulations postcard this week from school, maths this time. He is such a humble kid and plays himself down all the time but he is so , so clever and i am delighted with his continued progress since he started senior school in september he had thought he would be swamped in such a large academy and so overlooked by the teaching staff but that has not been the case at all.
